Luke Chapter 4 (Expounded)

Luke Chapter 4

1) ... After Yahushua was immersed by Yochanan, his cousin recognized Yahushua for Who and What he was, in accordance with what the Spirit of Yahuah had told him to look for; and Yahushua began to be about thirty years of age... Yahushua, being full of the Most Holy, rational Spirit of Yahuah's Nature and Order, turned away from the Yardane River to go back where He had come from; and was then compelled by the Spirit that He was filled with to go into the wilderness... 2048 eremos {er'-ay-mos} - the desolate, wild, lonely region outside of any city or village where it is completely uncivilized and uncultivated...

2) He was out in those areas for forty days being tempted... 3985 peirazo {pi-rad'-zo} - being tested for the purpose of proving the quality of His character, thoughts, and purposes... by the devil... 1228 diabolos {dee-ab'-ol-os} - by the false accuser and slanderer of Yahuah... who did maliciously test him by enticing Him to sin... During those days of temptation Yahushua ate nothing; and after those days had ended He was hungry.

3) During this time of extreme hunger, the false accuser and slanderer of Yahuah spoke to Yahushua and said: If you are the Son of Yahuah, then command this stone so that it will turn into bread.

4) Yahushua gave the adversary of Yahuah an answer to the challenge he had made by saying: It has been written, within the writings that have been given to men by the inspiration of the Spirit of my Father's Nature and Order, that man will not be able to live by consuming only bread; but instead, that life is obtained by listening to and obeying every word that is spoken by Yahuah.

Yahushua is reiterating the lesson spoken by Yahuah to all of Israel through Moses...

*** Deuteronomy 8:1-3 All the commandments which I command you this day shall you observe to do. So that you may be able to live, and multiply, and go in and take possession of the land which Yahuah swore to your fathers that He would give to you. 2 And you shall remember all the way which Yahuah, Your Elohim, led you these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble you. To test you in order to know what was in your heart. To see whether you would pay attention to His instructions, or not. 3 And He humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and then He fed you with manna. Which you were unfamiliar with. Your forefathers did not know anything about it either; and because of this they were unable to teach its existence to you. Yahuah did this so that He would be able to make you know that man does not live by eating bread... bread that man can cause to be made from what man has grown... only; but so that, instead, you would recognize that it is by everything that comes out of the mouth of Yahuah... that it is because of whatever is spoken into existence and provided by Yahuah... that man does live.

5) The devil... the false accuser and slanderer of Yahuah..., by leading Yahushua up into a high mountain... ... for it , showed Him all of the kingdoms of the entire world in a moment of time.

Note for promoting thoughts: How was this done? How is it possible that Yahushua was led, in whatever way that it was done, by the false accuser and slanderer of Yahuah to go anywhere?... Is it possible that this is an indicator put into the Word for us to read, that temptation is not sin in and of itself for the one being tempted? It has been made very clear in scripture that malicious intentions make the difference between testing to prove the heart, as Yahuah does, and tempting for the sake of making a gain for the self doing the tempting. Can Yahuah gain what was already a part of His Order???

6) The devil then said to Him: All of this power... All of the power that it takes to rule all of the kingdoms that I have just shown you to be existing throughout the entire world... will I give to you; and all of the majestic honor, fear, reverence, and praise of those who are my subjects within those kingdoms. For such reverential fear and honor comes from the ability to rule all of these kingly dominions. All of that power and majesty is mine to give to you because it has been given to me to control and use as I see fit. It is mine to give to whomever I want to give it to.

7) If you will worship me as one of my subjects, then all of this power, ability, reverence, and honor will be yours.

8) Yahushua then gave him his answer by saying: Get yourself... 5217 hupago {hoop-ag'-o} - go away... leave... leave the position that you have placed yourself in as my leader and get yourself... behind me... 3694 opiso {op-is'-o} - and go to your place in position behind me..., Satan... 4567 Satanas {sat-an-as'} - adversary... you who oppose me in your purposes and actions... because it has been written down for men to know and understand, by those within the history of man who have been inspired by the Spirit of My Father's Nature and Order: You will worship Yahuah your Elohim; and only Him will you serve.

NOTE: In part, the following texts is where "it is written" in Yahushua's paraphrase answer. Notice that Yahushua is identifying Himself as the Israelite that He is; and as the Son of Mankind, in His refutation of the maliciously intended temptations of the False Accuser and Slanderer of Yahuah...

Exodus 20:3 You shalt have no other... H0312 'acher {akh-air'} - You will not follow any other... from primitive root H0309 'achar {aw-khar'} - You will not stay behind any other... gods... H0430 'elohim {el-o-heem} - if used in a plural sense, the word means rulers... judges... divine ones... When used with a plural intensive but singular meaning, this word means god or goddess, godlike one, it refers to works or special possessions of God, it indicates that the user of the word is indicating the One True Supreme Deity, Yahuah... in front of My face.

Exodus 20:4 You... You who are Israel... shalt not make... 6213 `asah {aw-saw'} - a primitive root word which has these meanings: fashion, produce, appoint, ordain, institute, bring about, use... for yourselves... the words "for yourselves" or "unto thee" are not actually in the Hebrew text; but the meaning, supplied by the translators and transcribers, appears to be indicated by the words used because the people of Israel are being spoken to as a whole... any graven image... the word graven is not used, but has been put in place by transcribers, for the word that is actually used is H6459 pecel {peh'-sel} - an idol... an image..., or the likeness... H8544 temunah {tem-oo-naw'} - the form, the image, the representation, the resemblance... of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

For clarity: You, ...a people who are the descendants of Yacob whom I had renamed Israel and who now carry his name, whom I have chosen to be My People out of all of the nations of people of the earth..., are not to make an idol that is an image of, or a representation of, or that is the resemblance of any thing existing in the heavens above the earth, or that exists in the earth beneath the heavens, or that exists in the water that is below the surface of the earth...

Exodus 20:5-6 You shalt not bow down yourselves to them... You will not bow yourselves down in worship to any of the things that exist in the heavens above the earth, in the earth below the heavens, or in the waters below the surface of the earth..., nor are you to serve any of those things. For I, Yahuah your Elohim, am a jealous El. I prove this by causing the punishment that I have given as a consequence for the iniquity...H5771 `avon {aw-vone'} - criminal conduct which violates Yahuah's Order... the conduct of perversity... the conduct of depravity... of the fathers to fall upon the children of the fathers of the third and fourth generations of those fathers who have hated me as my enemies; 6 And I also prove this by showing mercy to the thousands of those who love me and keep... H8104 shamar {shaw-mar'} - diligently observe, give careful attention to, guard like precious treasure in their memories... my commandments.

Exodus 34:11-14 Observe... pay careful attention to and consider that which I command you this day: Look, see, and understand, that I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. 12 Take heed,... pay attention to yourselves and your behavior... lest... for fear that... you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest... for fear that... that covenant is used for a snare in the midst of you all: 13 But you all shall, instead, destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: 14 For you shall worship no other elohim: for Yahuah, whose name... Whose reputation is jealous... H7067 qanna' {kan-naw'} - means jealous only when this word pertains to Yah..., is a jealous EL:

Deuteronomy 11:16-17 16 Take heed to yourselves... pay attention to yourselves and your behavior... so that your heart is not deceived, and so that you do not turn aside from your worship of me and serve other gods, and worship them; 17 Because then, Yahuah's wrath is kindled against you, and He will shut up the heavens, so that there is no rain, and so that the land does not yield her fruit; and you will then perish quickly from off of the good land which Yahuah gives to you.

Deuteronomy 30:17 - 31:1 But if your heart turns away, so that you refuse to listen, but choose to be drawn away instead; and if you worship other gods and serve them. 18 I denounce... H5046 nagad {naw-gad'} - I tell..., I make known... , to you this day, that you shall all perish, and that you shall not prolong your days upon the land, where you are crossing over the Jordan to go to take possession of it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you. To bear witness that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing on this day. Therefore choose life, so that both you and your descendants can live: 20 So that you can love Yahuah, your Elohim; and so that thou can obey His voice; and so that you can cling to Him. For He is your life, and the reason for the length of your days. Choose life so that thou can dwell in the land which Yahuah swore to give to your fathers. To Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

2 Kings 17:34-40 34 To this day they do after the former customs and traditions. They do not fear Yahuah, neither do they in accordance with their statutes, or according to their ordinances, or according to the law and commandment which Yahuah commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel; 35 With whom Yahuah had made a covenant, and charged them, by saying: You shall not fear other elohim, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them: 36 But Yahuah, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm. Him shall you fear, and Him shall ye worship, and to Him shall you do sacrifice. 37 The statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which He wrote for you, you shall observe to do for evermore; and you shall not fear other elohim. 38 The covenant, that I have made with you, you shall not forget Neither shall you fear other elohim. 39 But Yahuah, your Elohim, you shall fear; and He shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies. 40 Even though this was spoken to them, they did not hearken, but they did, instead, according to their former manner of tradition and custom.

Psalm 81:8-10 Hear, O my people, and I will testify to you. Hear, O Israel, if you will listen to me. 9 There shall no strange elohim exist within you; neither shall you worship any strange elohim. 10 I am Yahuah, your Elohim, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

9) Then, the false accuser and slanderer of Yahuah brought Him... 71 ago {ag'-o} - moved... impelled... drove Yahushua to move forward and onward through the forces and influences that were brought to bear on His mind... to Yerushalem; and set... 2476 histemi {his'-tay-mee} - caused Him to stand... on a pinnacle... 4419 pterugion {pter-oog'-ee-on} - on the highest point... of the temple; and then said to Him: If you are the Son... or a Son... of Yahuah, then throw yourself down from here.

10) For it has been written: He will give His angels charge over you in order to guard and preserve you;

11) And in their hands they will bear you up. For fear that at some time you would strike your foot against a stone.

*** The enemy of Yahuah's Order and Purpose is quoting from Psalm 91:11-12...

In Context:

Psalm 91:1-16 He Who dwells... who lives within... in the secret place of the Most High shall abide... will remain... under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say, in regard to Yahuah, that He is my refuge and my fortress. He is my Elohim; and it is in Him that I will trust. 3 Surely He shall deliver you... 5337 natsal {naw-tsal'} - in the Hiphil sense - snatch you away... rescue you away... from the snare... 6341 pach {pakh} - the trap... of the fowler... 3353 yaquwsh {yaw-koosh} - the trapper... the bait layer... and from the noisome... 1942 hawah {hav-vaw'} - the deadly... the destructive... pestilence... 1698 deber {deh'-ber} - plague... murrain - a dreaded, contagious disease similar to the bubonic plague that took place in the Middle Ages; and is thought to have been carried by rat fleas. The bubonic plague caused swelling of the lymph glands and produced tumors on the infected people that were bitten by the fleas. In this case this word is descriptive of a contagious, deadly disease, infecting humans, that probably was carried by cattle or other livestock... 4 He shall cover you with His feathers; and under the safety of His wings will you trust. His truth shall be your shield... 6793 tsinnah {tsin-naw'} - your sharp, piercing hook... and buckler... 5507 cocherah {so-khay-raw} - and your small, round shield used as a weapon to ward off attacks...

Note: Shield and buckler are redundant. The redundancy of the two different words that could be translated as "shield" causes the need for the first word " tsinnah" to be viewed as a something sharp or piercing, or as a barbed, hooking device instead of a shield...

5 You shall not be afraid because of the terror... the dread... that comes in the darkness of night; nor because of the arrow that flies during the brightness of daylight. 6 Nor because of the pestilence... the deadly, contagious plague or disease... that walks... that moves... that comes to someone... in the darkness. Nor because of the destruction... the destroying... that wastes... that ruins... that devastates... at noonday.

Note: As it happened in the Middle Ages, so could it take place during this time of infectious, deadly, contagious disease. In an attempt at ridding themselves of all things that are touched by the disease and death, each day the people would purge the dwellings and possessions of the infected ones with the cleansing destructiveness of fire... possibly even by the burning of bodies...

7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand will fall at your right hand; but it... that destruction from the plague... shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes will you look at and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made Yahuah, Who is my refuge, Who is the Most High, your habitation... your dwelling place... your place of refuge... 10 No evil will befall... 0579 'anah {aw-naw'} - be sent to... be allowed to meet... you; and neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. 11 For He... Yahuah..., will shall give his angels... 4397 mal'ak {mal-awk'} - His representatives... His messengers... charge over... 6680 tsavah {tsaw-vaw'} - commands regarding... you. To keep... 8104 shamar {shaw-mar'} - to protect, preserve, watch over, guard... you in all your ways. 12 They shall bear thee up... 5375 nasa' {naw-saw'} - they will lift you up and carry you... they will support you... in the palms of their hands. So that you do not strike a stone with your foot and stumble off of the path that you are to walk on. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and the dragon... 8577 tanniyn {tan-neen'} - the river monster: possibly - the crocodile... shall you trample under your feet. 14 Note: Now Yahuah is speaking personally through the writer... Because he has set his love on Me, therefore will I deliver him... 6403 palat {paw-lat'} - I will bring him to security... I will cause him to escape... I will set him on high, because he has known... 3045 yada - because he has perceived and seen with the eyes of his mind... my name... 8034 shem {shame} - my reputation, my fame, my honor, my glory, my memory... 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Return to Luke Chapter 4...

12) And Yahushua, in answer to the malicious intent of the false accuser of Yahuah and the slanderer of Yahuah's purposes, said this: It is said: You will not tempt Yahuah your Elohim.

*** A quote from Deuteronomy 6:16

You shall not tempt Yahuah, your Elohim, like you tempted Him in Massah.

A reference to Exodus 17:1-7...

And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of Yahuah, and pitched their tents in Rephidim; and there was no water for the people to drink. 2 It was for this reason that the people did chide... 7378 riyb or ruwb - the people did strive... they contended... with Moses; and they said: Give us water so that we can drink; and Moses said unto them: Why do you strive and contend with me?... Why are you bringing a complaint against me?... wherefore... for what reason... do ye tempt... 5254 nacah {naw-saw'} - a primitive root meaning to test... Why are you testing... Yahuah?... For what reason do you all put Yahuah to the test?... 3 The people continued to thirst there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said: Is this the reason that you have brought us up out of Egypt? Is it that you intend to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? 4 Moses cried out to Yahuah, by saying: What am I to do to for these people? They are almost ready to stone me. 5 And Yahuah said unto Moses: Go on before the people; and take with you some of the elders of Israel; and the rod with which you struck the river, carry it in your hand, and go. 6 Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock; and water shall come out of it so that the people can drink. Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. 7 He then called the name of the place, Massah... 4532 Maccah {mas-saw'} - "temptation"..., and Meribah... 4809 Meriybah {mer-ee-baw'} - "strife", or, "contention"..., because of the chiding... the word "chiding" is terribly misused by the transcribers in the transliteration of this text, because it means "to mildly scold"... obviously, the more appropriate rendering of 'heated contention and strife' ought to be seen here as the behavior... of the children of Israel,which caused Moses to name the place "strife" or "contention; and, Moses also called this place "temptation" because they put Yahuah to the test, by saying: Is Yahuah truly here amongst us, or not; and if so, then why do we thirst?

13) When the devil... 1228 diabolos {dee-ab'-ol-os} - the slanderer... the false accuser of Yahuah, His Order and Purposes... had ended all of the temptation... 3986 peirasmos {pi-ras-mos'} - had ended all of the actions which put the mind and motives of the heart of Yahushuato the test. Either for the purpose of diverting the thoughts, feelings, and decisions made, away from a perceived normal course in a malicious fashion, or for the purpose of proving out what Yahushua's motives and heart attitudes really are... he left him for a season... he left Yahushua alone for a measure of time... for scripture reveals that he would return again...

A Note: The false accuser and slanderer of Yahuah, His Order and Purposes is a spiritual creature. One that is found described in the context of scripture as a favored creature. With power and capabilities that enabled him to carry out responsibilities assigned to him before his fall from that status and standing. He is well capable of actions and abilities that are considered extremely extraordinary by men or mankind. This creature is very capable of influencing the mind of the son of man we know as Yahushua through the disorientation that can take place during the aftermath of fasting...

14) Yahushua returned from his fasting in/with the power of the Spirit... 1411 the power and ability that is inherent in the Spirit of Yahuah by virtue of its nature...; and a fame concerning Him began to be circulated throughout all the surrounding region.

15) He taught in their synagogues, being highly thought of in the opinions of all who heard him and heard of him.

16) He then came to Nazareth... 3478 {nad-zar-eth'} or {nad-zar-et'} - "the guarded one" The ancient town is thought now to be represented by the modern town named en-Nacirah, which is built mainly on the western and northwestern slopes of a hollow among the lower hills of Galilee, just before they sink into the plain of Esdraelon. It lies about midway between the Sea of Galilee and the Mediterranean at Haifa. The remains of an ancient synagogue still exist today within the western part of town that used to be known as Nadzaret. Nearby the town is a cliff... where he had been raised during his childhood; and, as his custom was, he went in to the synagogue on the sabbath day. Then, when the time came, he stood up during the order of the services that took place, and offered to read the scriptures out loud that were to be read that day.

17) The scroll that was given to him on that day to read from was a copy of the writings of the prophet Isaiah. When Yahushua opened the scroll, he found the place where it had been written:

18) The Spirit of Yahuah is on me. Because he has anointed me to preach the good news... the good news of the True Truth of Yahuah, His Order and Purpose, His chosen and beloved people; and His Salvation for mankind... to the poor... to the poor in spirit who know that they cannot achieve what they need to; and be approved of by Yahuah, spiritually or any other way, on their own... He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted... He has sent Me to heal those who are destitute of approval and know it; and are brokenhearted because they have no hope of ever being sufficient enough to achieve it... to preach deliverance to the captives... He has sent Me to speak and declare salvation and rescue to those who are held captive by their own inabilities in a prison of exclusion from Yahuah's Order...; and to preach about the recovering of sight to those who are blind... He has sent Me to speak and teach of the ability of spiritual blindness to be recovered from to those who are spiritually blind and unable to see the True Truth of Yahuah and His Order... To set at liberty... 859 aphesis {af'-es-is} - He has sent Me to release from bondage or imprisonment... those who are bruised... 2352 thrauo {throw'-o} - those who are broken in pieces... those who have been shattered...

19) To preach... He has sent Me to proclaim openly... to declare in the manner of a herald... the acceptable year of Yahuah...

From Isaiah 61:1-2 The Spirit of Yahuah, Elohim, is upon me; because Yahuah has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He has sent me to bind up... to restrain... to bandage up... the brokenhearted. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening up of the prison to those that are held prisoner within it. 2 He has sent me to proclaim the acceptable year of Yahuah...

20) He then closed the scroll and gave it back to the assistant of the priest of the synagogue; and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him;

21) And He began to speak to them, by saying: Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your ears.

22) All who were there bore witness... 3140 martureo {mar-too-reh'-o} - they affirmed that they knew that what Yahushua had said was right; and that he knew it because it had been revealed to Him through the inspiration of Yahuah... and they marvelled at the gracious words that came out of His mouth when He spoke. And they said to one another: Isn't this Yoseph's son?

23) He then said to them: You will surely speak this proverb to me, which says: Physician, heal yourself. Whatever it is, that we have heard of, that has been done in Capernaum, do it here also in your country... Do these things in Nazareth where you were raised...

24) He spoke, in answer to that proverbial saying: I speak truth when I tell you that no prophet is accepted in his own country;

25) And; I also speak truth to you when I say that in the days of Eliyah there were many widows in Israel during the time when the heavens were shut up for three years and six months... three and a half years... some signifigance here?... when great famine existed throughout all the land;

26) And that Eliyah was not sent to any of them except for a widow in the city of Sarepta of Sidon... H6886 Tsaraphath {tsaq-ref-ath'} - "refinery" - a city on the south coast of Sidon... H6721 Zidon Tsiydown {tsee-done'} - "hunting" - an ancient Phoenician city on the Mediterranean coast north of Tyre...; Not an Israelite Woman???

27) And many lepers existed in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. None of them were cleansed of their leprosy by Elisha except for Naaman the Syrian... A foreigner... not an Israelite man...

28) When Yahushua had spoken these things; and when all in the synagogue had heard Him, they were all filled with wrath;

29) And they rose up and threw Him out of the city... Nazareth... and they then laid hold of Him and brought Him to the brow... the overhang at the top of the hill on which their city was built so that they could throw Him down from there head first.

30) But Yahushua, by passing through the midst of them, went His own way;

31) And came down to Capernaum... 2584 Kapernaoum {cap-er-neh-oom'} - "village of comfort" - A city in the region of Galilee... on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee or Lake Gennesaret, near the place where the Yardane River flows into the lake...; and He taught them on the sabbath days.

32) Those who were in Capernaum, whom Yahushua taught on those days of sabbath, were astonished at His doctrine. For His teaching and speaking was with power... It was an exercise of authority and not theoretical in its nature...

33) In the synagogue of Capernaum was a man who had a spirit of an unclean devil... 1140 daimonion {dahee-mon'-ee-on} - a demon... one of the messengers, servants, or representatives of the Adversary of Yahuah... The False accuser and Slanderer of Yahuah, His Order and Purposes... and he cried out with a loud voice;

34) And he said: Leave us alone!!! What do we have to do with you, Yahushua of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know you! I know Who You Are! You are the Most Holy One sent from Yahuah!!!

35) Yahushua rebuked him, by saying: Be silent and come out of him. Then, when the demon had thrown the man down in the midst of them all, he left the man and did not hurt him while doing so.

36) They were all amazed; and they spoke amongst themselves, by saying: What kind of declaration is this?... What is being said here because of what has just happened?... Because he commands the unclean spirits with power and authority; and they come out!

37) The fame of Yahushua then went out into every place... into the ears of many people within every inhabited village, city, town, district, etc... of the region surrounding Capernaum.

38) Yahushua then prepared Himself to leave the synagogue in Capernaum to go elsewhere. He then entered into Simon's... into Kephas'... house. Where Kephas' mother in law was suffering because of an intense fever; and all who were in the household begged Him, urgently and with an appeal for pity on her behalf, to do something about it.

39) Yahushua stood over her as she was laying down; and rebuked the fever... 2008 epitamao [ep-ee-tee-mah'-o} - Yahushua admonished the fever... Yahushua expressed stern disapproval regarding the existence of the fever within Kephas' mother-in-law, as if it were a living thing...; and it left her. Immediately afterward she rose up and waited on them as is the customary manner of women within the households in the region.

40) Now, when the sun was setting that day, all of those... all of those who had followed Yahushua wherever He went that day, and as a result had heard of the healing of Kephas' mother in law; and... who had any that were sick among them with diverse diseases, brought those who were sick to Him. Yahushua laid His hands on every one of them; and He healed them.

41) Devils... 1140 daimonion {dahee-mon'-ee-on} - messengers and servants, in the spiritual realm, of the adversary of Yahuah and His Order... demons... also came of many that Yahushua laid hands on and healed; and as they came out, they caused the host that they were being removed from to speak out loud and proclaim: You are the Anointed One who is the Son of Yahuah! Yahushua rebuked these demons for speaking out in this manner; and He did not allow them to speak. Because they knew that He was the Anointed One sent by and from Yahuah.

42) When daylight came, Yahushua left Kephas' house and went into a desolate, solitary place. The people looked for Him and came to Him where they found Him; and they did everything they could to cause Him difficulty and delay in His intentions to go somewhere else. Because they did not want Him to leave them.

43) He spoke to them and said: I must preach... 2097 euaggelizo {yoo-ang-ghel-id'-zo} - I have to bring the good news... Because of Who and What I am, I am driven from a sense of purpose that is deep within me to announce the glad tidings of the arrival of... the kingdom of Yahuah to other cities also. I must do this because that is what I have been sent to do.

44) Then He left Capernaum; and went on to bring the news of the imminent arrival of the kingdom of Yahuah, which He had been sent by His Father to announce and declare, to other synagogues in towns and villages throughout the region of Galilee.
